Biography

MaurizioGalimberti was born in Como in He moved to Milan where he now lives and works. He approached the world of analog photography making his debut with the use of a Widelux rotating lens camera and from he focused his commitment, in a radical and definitive way, on the Polaroid. In he began his collaboration with Polaroid Italia of which he became the official testimonial creating the volume POLAROID PRO ART published in He was named "Instant Artist" and is the creator of the "Polaroid Collection Italiana" and obtained the prestigious "Gran Prix Kodak Pubblicità Italia". He continues his research with Polaroid reinventing the technique of "Photographic Mosaic" that initially suitable for portraits.

The first experiment dates back to when he portrayed his son Giorgio. This will be followed by portraits made among others, to the designer Michele Trussardi, to the étoile Carla Fracci and to the art
